About
About Neal Winsomer
I am a father first. Every other role I carry sits behind that.
I am the author of Calling Out the Shadows: A Father's Stand Against the Current, a memoir and practical guide about high-conflict custody, broken communication, and the slow erosion of truth inside a family. I wrote it over roughly eight months of focused work, through drafting and revision from the middle of 2025 into early 2026. The words are my own. I explain how I did and did not use software tools on my Note on AI page, and the formal record for the book and audiobook sits on the publisher's AI Usage Statement.
I am also the creator of Protected Narrative Pathway Solutions, a structured approach for sharing a sensitive story with security and care. It grew from the same purpose that produced the book: to be accurate about a situation while protecting the people inside it, above all a child.
I write and speak from experience, not from a clinical chair. I am not a therapist or a lawyer. What I offer is one father's record and the structure I built to keep it clear. Four lines held me steady through the hardest parts, and they still do: clarity over comfort, transparency over secrecy, structure over spin, and love over anger.
